We are proud to support the living wage initiative and are pleased to announce that we have recently been accredited by the foundation.

By investing in our team through training and paying a decent wage will ensure that Eidyn Care continues to provide excellent care and build strong relationships.

Set up in April 2017, family run Eidyn Care is passionate about providing excellent care at home services for people who have a life-limiting condition. Priding themselves in the quality of their service, Rebecca McLennan, Eidyn Care’s Registered Manager said “The quality of our care depends on the quality of our staff. Paying the real Living Wage not only helps us attract great employees, it lets them know how much they are valued.”

Rebecca continued “Providing continuity of care to our clients is paramount, so retaining staff is vital. This allows them to build a good relationship with clients helping them feel comfortable in their own home which reduces stress and anxiety. Paying the real Living Wage really helps us keep good employees, and maintain the quality of our service.”

Dignity and respect are core values of Eidyn Care, not only for their clients who have a variety of illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, and cerebal palsy. The same values are central to employee relations at Eidyn Care, with Rebecca saying “Treating our staff with respect and dignity is really important, so going for Living Wage accreditation was an easy decision for us. We’re proud to be a Living Wage employer.”
