Our caregivers are highly motivated, caring and well trained individuals who will uphold your right to be treated with dignity and respect. They will assist you in making informed decisions about your care, allowing you to realise your full potential in a safe environment.

We have a team of over 100 carers many of whom have previously worked as nurses or in the healthcare sector. All of our carers have experience of caring for others and for which it is a real vocation for them. Each of our carers go through a rigorous set of checks and interviews before they join us.

Who we are, our story…

Eidyn Care was set up by husband and wife team Rebecca and Andrew McLennan.

Rebecca is a qualified and highly experienced nurse who previously worked at St Columba’s Hospice, Edinburgh where she realised there was a need for a service delivering quality care at home that allows people to remain in the comfort of their own home in a safe, happy and supported environment. Rebecca now works as our Registered Manager and is very hands on in the business and with the team.

Her husband Andrew has run his own successful business consultancy for many years, specialising in Information Technology (IT). Now the Operations Manager at Eidyn Care, he looks after the administration of the business, including the processes and technology required to support the team delivering a first class care service to their customers.

Key to successful care

Communication

We believe open communication between everyone is crucial to ensure care is successful. We will have regular feedback sessions with both you and the caregiver to proactively resolve any problems arising.

Electronic Care Plans

We use the industry standard in Electronic Care Plans, PASS. This system eliminates time-consuming paperwork, and dramatically reduces the risk of medicines mismanagement through real-time delivery and analysis of digital care records.

Scheduling

We use a dedicated Care Planning systems that monitors every client visit and ensure that every visit starts at the agreed time. This system also generates weekly rotas and sends electronic invoices ensuring clear communication.
